01 Challenge

Although we frequently work with impressive dimensions – we can create doors up to 6 meters in height, and the largest door we have built so far measures 4.5 meters – this project brought a few interesting particularities. The client requested a door with a generous opening of approximately 1.5 meters, which needed to integrate seamlessly with the architectural style of the church, preserving its traditional elements and characteristic decorative details.

02 Solution

The execution process was, for the most part, a standard one for our team; however, we encountered a few specific challenges related to the finishes and decorative details. The wrought iron elements required careful restoration and were subsequently coated using an electrostatic painting process to achieve a durable and uniform finish. Additionally, we integrated handcrafted wooden decorative profiles on the exterior glass frames, designed to respect the aesthetic lines of traditional church doors. At the base of the door, we added an extra decorative profile to enhance elegance and visual balance without compromising the structural robustness.

03 Result

Our extensive experience in manufacturing and restoring large-scale doors, as well as recreating designs inspired by traditional architecture, allowed us to deliver a final product that seamlessly combines classic craftsmanship with modern technology. The custom church door fully met both functional and aesthetic requirements, integrating perfectly into the architectural ensemble. We frequently design and build customized doors tailored to the specific needs of each project, whether they involve complex shapes, decorative profiles, or restored metal elements harmoniously integrated into the final design.
